Billy Bolt continues his standout with this high performance on dirt in this year’s World Enduro Super Series. The 21-year-old Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider is truly a superstar in the making after rising up second overall in championship standings and winning the Extreme XL Lagares, the opening round of the series. Adding to his remarkable finishes this year; finishing fifth at Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble in Austria, and the toughest and demanding Red Bulls Romaniacs where he finished fourth overall. In the round five of WESS, Bolt finished third to secure a spot in the podium in Redbull 111 Megawatt held just last weekend.
Coming from solid performances, Bolt takes on Hydrogarden Weston Beach Race in October having a debut experience in a beach race type of terrain. Billy Bolt said: “”It’s such an iconic event and one I grew up with, but never had the opportunity to race until now. I’m really looking forward to competing at the HydroGarden for the very first time.”
“When I stood on the promenade last year watching it I decided then that I had to come and race this year. The track looked awesome, especially the start with so many riders charging down the main straight. The atmosphere is also incredible too; the whole weekend feels like a dirt bike festival of sorts, which is really cool. If I can go there and give it my best shot, I’ll be happy with the outcome. I know there’s going to be a lot of world-class talent on the start line with a lot of experience in this type of racing. But that said, I do feel like I’m riding well at the moment and know that I should be able to adapt to the sandy conditions. As it’s my first beach race I’m not carrying any major expectations into the race.”
The director of RHL Activities, Gareth Hockey has something in mind for this young superstar. Gareth Hockey said: “He is unquestionably a very special rising talent and as such we’re looking forward to seeing him make his beach racing debut with us. We’re delighted to have a rider of Billy Bolt’s calibre come and race this year’s HydroGarden Weston Beach Race. It’s the UK’s biggest dirt bike race and the addition of Billy to our line-up of world-class talent is testament to that. We wish him all the best in what will be the 36th edition of the race.”
This October 19-21 in Weston-Super-Mare, we will head on for the 36th edition of HydroGarden Weston Beach Race.
