WESS 2018 HEADS TO HAWKSTONE

The Inaugural World Enduro Super Series will all set up at Hawstone Park Venue in Great Britain on September 22-23. The sixth round of the Super Series is a cracking weekend that’s full of excitement and uplifting enduro racing for pro and amateur riders.

Paul Edmondson leads the competition to run as a WESS format for a large number of riders. With this arrangement, Professional riders compete with other amateur riders as they go head to head on a well-performed and go-for-all headed by organiser, Edmondson.

Edmondson said: “Back then we ran a massively successful meeting – 500 riders lined up at the start, pros and amateurs alike. It was always my aim to try and bring back the glory days of the original Fast Eddy from 1997. The event was a big hit and it’s something I have been trying to recreate – running the 2018 Fast Eddy as a WESS event has allowed me to do that.”

The course for this weekend in September, we are expecting up to 500 riders to compete, two and-a-half-hour WESS main event, Original Fast Eddy will be capped at 250.“

The proposed plan to this event aims to attract more riders and expands the exposure of enduro racing.

“The entry fee not only pays for you to race, but allows you to bring three people free of charge to help out and spectate. With the amount of talent in the UK right now I am certain there will be a few local riders more than capable of giving the WESS regulars a run for their money.”
