Having a 40 point lead means that Steve Holcombe didn’t necessarily need to win but he still did his best and eventually won the 2017 EnduroGP World Championship. Despite being in the seventh place on the super test last Friday, he didn’t let a failure stay a failure by taking the lead and eventually winning the opening test. Starting that day, he went through a lot of races and went to have a 20-second margin of victory against Christophe Nambotin and his closest challenger Loic Larrieu in third.
The battle for the Enduro2 and Junior titles are set at tomorrow’s final day of racing in the 2017 series.
